marissa miller hottieand to myself, i’m once again going to post a link to one of my favorite photo packages of the year, the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photo Gallery. there’s not much i need to say. it pretty much speaks for itself. i’ll stop typing now.

GOD IT’S SO AWESOME

seriously, i’ll stop.

oh, actually i just noticed something that’s actually really cool. they’re calling it ‘motion parallax 3D.’ which i’d say is pretty accurate. and pretty awesome too. basically you can navigate a picture and the focus adjusts based on the position of your mouse. it’s slick and interesting. and for added cool points it looks to be using the exact same effect as what ive recently been calling ‘pano technology.’ you can see it used differently in my recent obama piece as well as the cambodia piece i put together for naka and nick (sorry only timesselect, wish there was some other way actually check it out on my site here). in short. i’m impressed. with the women, and the technology. but mostly the women.

the picture to the right is not one of the motion parallax 3Ds. no no my friend. that is marissa miller. she is the brad pitt of women. actually, marissa miller stands alone. brad pitt is the marissa miller’s not as hot sister of the man world. or something. actually forget about pitt. think about marissa.

*UPDATE- so i had originally written a long-winded analysis of the game which really came down to hansbrough sucking for the majority (read all) of the game and roy’s brilliant (read obvious) realization that our team of 16 year olds was lacking direction and leadership which led him to put in wes miller, who through his hard work, excellent defense and clutch 3-pointers, gave UNC the boost they needed when nobody else was really stepping up. see? even that was a long-winded sentence.

for whatev reason i then decided to delete that post and just summarize by giving wes miller big ups.

anyhow, if you didn’t get to check out the game click on the photo above and view my buddy Nathan Clendenin‘s audio slideshow of the game that he did for WRAL. he shot all the photos (including the one above) and recorded and cut the audio. i like this b/c it’s all ambient sound which in this case really lets the game and the environment speak for themselves. nice job nate.

and nice job tarheels!
